ANTHONY WOERNER – PTA, CCRP
Anthony has developed canine training programs to bring your dog to the next level of fitness. Combining his in-depth knowledge from working with both human and animal patients, he has achieved an excellent understanding of structure and movement.
Anthony has developed the unique ability to understand breed specifics, structure, and movement. He uses his extensive knowledge and his healing hands to know how to best treat each animal. As a canine fitness instructor, his clients include dogs that compete on an elite level to the dogs that need fitness training to maintain a healthy lifestyle as a pet.
KATHY SANTO – PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINER
Kathy has been teaching basic and competitive dog obedience since 1984. She single-handedly built her practice from a few weekly students to the 100+ dogs a week that she currently trains, handling problems from the benign to the serious. Each dog is dealt with as an individual and a solution is custom-created depending on the personality type of the dog.
She is an author of her own book, a columnist, and sought after dog training expert. Kathy has helped develop our new Canine Gym @ Home Program to help dog owners develop mental and physical fitness obedience. The new program will provide dog owners with exercises and instructions right in the comfort of their home.
Erika has been a pioneer in the Animal Rehabilitation field, with over 12 years hands on experience, providing therapy services for both Equines and Canines. She offers fitness and muscle strengthening programs; specializes in gait strengthening and neurological rehabilitation and offers bracing applications for unstable joints, through her company, Change your Range.
BOBBIE LYONS – Cert CF
Bobbie Lyons has nine years of experience training safe canine fitness practices to handlers and their performance dogs. She holds a certificate in canine fitness by the Companion Animal Sciences Institute (Cert CF) and has consulted leading veterinarians, rehabilitation specialists, and canine physical therapists to ensure proper position and technique to maximize the benefits of each exercise in her program. Bobbie has six dogs and has trained in agility for over 10 years. She teaches students all over the world at classroom.daisypeel.com and travels offering workshops and clinics. ROBERT PORTER LMT, CCRP
Robert is the physical rehabilitation treatment supervisor at MedVet Medical & Cancer Center (Mandeville location). He was one of the first 30 people in the United States to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner from the University of Tennessee and has been working, full time, in the field of veterinary physical rehabilitation since 2000. Robby has a strong interest in positive training approaches to specific targeted exercise in canine sports medicine.
SONNET JARVIS – DVM, CCRT
Sonnet Jarvis, DVM, CCRT (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist) practiced small animal medicine in Phoenix for more than 14 years before opening her own physical rehabilitation clinic, Arizona Veterinary Physical Rehabilitation. With post-doctorate training in the diagnosis and management of pain and loss of function, she recognizes the importance of preventing joint breakdown, muscle strains, and injuries through fitness and nutrition. Dr. Sonnet is certified as a personal trainer for humans with the National Academy for Sports Medicine. She combines her knowledge of human fitness and exercise with her canine rehabilitation skills and veterinary medical expertise.
